Dear NCSY ICE Israel Parents,
We hope this finds you well, and are pleased that ICE Israel has been enjoying such a fantastic and impactful experience in Israel thus far.
As you know, we have been monitoring the situation in Israel extraordinarily closely and are in daily contact with the Cheder Matzav (Situation Room), the Israeli government-run security agency that guides our movements in Israel.
In the coming days, in accordance with Cheder Matzav guidelines, we expect to have ICE Israel and our other programs approved to spend time in Jerusalem. At all times, we will follow their recommendations as to approved sites and security protocols. There have been no sirens or alerts for Jerusalem for the past ten days, and we are pleased that the situation in Jerusalem has stabilized adequately to allow us this opportunity.
As the itinerary for the program is finalized, we will notify you as to the specific changes. In the meantime, we want to keep you informed about this new development.
