NCSY Israel ID – Day 6

Dear parents,

After a long stay in Jerusalem we headed towards the second biggest city in Israel, Tel-Aviv. We visited arguably the most important historic place in the establishment of Israel, Independence Hall. We sat in the very room the declaration was signed. After hearing the recording of the actual reading of the declaration by David Ben-Gurion we all stood up and sang in unison 'HaTikvah'. Then we ate a wonderful lunch consisting of cream cheese, egg salad and tuna sandwiches. Oh, with a side of salad, a fruit and a cold bottle of water. After lunch we got to see a really cool side of Tel-Aviv where graffiti artists display their art, and later we got to design our very own. The colors were popping, which made for great and exciting photo opportunities. It was so much fun. Check out our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages for all the photos from today and this past week. Wishing you all a good night from our new home in the North, Shlomi.
