Day 4 started out with an educational visit to the former Roman city at Beit Shan. Among many things, we saw the coliseum, heated bathhouses, and cardo of what used to be a dynamic Roman city.
To beat the heat, we followed Beit Shan with another water hike (with two tunnel slides), and canoeing down the Jordan River.
Tomorrow we'll be biking and visiting a local lookout point. We are greatly looking forward to our first Shabbos in Israel!
