What a day!
It’s only day 2 and we have already been to the kotel twice. We began our day traveling through the capital of Jerusalem, set by King David himself, Ir Dovid. We saw ancient ruins of those times and traveled through a water tunnel. The water was freezing and we couldn’t see a thing, but… it was awesome! Afterwards we were able to eat lunch in the Jewish quarter and got to pick from pizza or schwarma or even burgers! We visited Aish Hatorah and saw the famous lookout from their roof. It was gorgeous. From there we went underground and saw the Kotel tunnel tours and how much more of the kotel there still is to be discovered. After a fun-filled day in the sun we headed back to the hotel for dinner and spent time with our family groups to rewind, unwind and enjoy a relaxing time with friends.
