Hello parents and friends! What a day! We were so lucky that we were able to go straight from New York to the Kotel, the Western wall! The view was breathtaking and the prayers inspiring. Some of us even got to write a personal letter and put it into the Kotel. We ate bagels and muffins and some fresh fruit, delicious! We then made our way back to the hotel where we were able to get settled in, shower and get our roommates! Afterwards we had a gourmet dinner and began our first ice-breaker. We were also able to stock up by making a quick supermarket run. Everyone is getting along and enjoying themselves so much that we keep forgetting it is only day 1. Keep checking our instagram, twitter and facebook pages for the most updated pictures of your children! Everyone is now off to bed to rest up for an action-packed day two.
